The Seestar S50 has been replaced by the Seestar S50 Pro
ZWO has discontinued the original Seestar S50, and we don't expect any more units. Its successor, the Seestar S50 Pro, keeps the same 50mm aperture and adds a 4K dual-lens camera system, better optics and a battery that lasts all night. If you want something lighter and less expensive, the Seestar S30 Pro is the smart telescope we recommend most to beginners.

Which one should I choose?
Choose the S50 Pro if you loved the idea of the S50: it has the same 50mm aperture for detail on galaxies, planets and the Moon, plus a 4K sensor, a wide-angle camera for Milky Way shots, double the storage and up to 9 hours of battery life.
Choose the S30 Pro if you want the lightest, most affordable Seestar. Its wider field of view frames large nebulae like the Orion and North America Nebulae in a single shot, and it's easy to travel with.
Both support Equatorial Mode with the Seestar TH10 on a full-height tripod, Plan mode, and ASCOM Alpaca for software like N.I.N.A. Not sure? Browse all our smart telescopes or give us a call.
