Denver skies aren't exactly dark. The S30 Pro is designed for that reality, with a built-in dual-band filter you can switch by tapping the app: Dual-band imaging is tuned for OIII and Hα to cut through moonlight and city glow when photographing nebula targets, so emission nebulae actually show up even in the city.
The active anti-dew control provides subtle heat that warms the lens on cold, humid nights. The quadruplet apochromatic lens with ED glass delivers round, tight stars edge to edge. Put it all together, and you've got a scope that holds up in the conditions most of us actually shoot in.
