Used Takahashi EM-11 mount and tripod with Temma 2Z motor/handset

This is a Takahashi EM-11 EQ mount and tripod, with Temma 2Z motors and handset.  It is in excellent condition, unmarked.  We have tested it, and it works smoothly and quietly. 

It has a 25 lb. payload capacity.  It includes a 12V cigarette plug adapter, and the original manual.  The ad copy lists this as a "goto" mount, but that's true only if you use the motorized handset to make the mount go to where you want it to point yourself.

With a weight capacity of up to 25 pounds, the Takahashi EM-11 Temma 2Z "GoTo" mount is made for small to medium sized loads. With a latitude range of 20-50 degrees, the EM-11 is well suited for use in the majority of North America.   The mount's high-speed drive operates at 250x on 12V DC power with slower slewing rates for fine adjustments.  With full GoTo capabilities, you will be able to navigate and track night sky objects with ease.  The included hand controller is simple and intuitive to use.

The Temma 2Z mounts have upgraded drive correction dials placed on the side of the control panel for optimal speed adjustments. The controls that can conveniently adjust the RA drive and Dec dials are also used to set up the movement of an auto guider. The control panel now includes an RJ-12 modular jack to connect an auto guider to the telescope tracking mount.

The polar telescope reticle on the EM-11T2Z has been replaced with a new reticle that to covers the years 2010 to 2050. The control panel is newly designed to protect the control box connections. The suitably designed hand box gives you ease of access with larger buttons, switches for speed, mode of operation and Northern and Southern Hemisphere selections, and comes in new colors.
