Condition: This is a used Starizona Hyperstar for a 6" Celestron. This is the latest version, version 4, as shown on the body. It is in very good condition, with clean optics, except that there are two tiny specks on it - see the fourth photo, just to the right of the reflection at Noon. We have taken this into consideration in the pricing.
NOTE: Different camera models will require different adapters, so the HyperStar maker, Starizona, makes user-interchangeable camera adapters for their V3 and V4 Hyperstars. (**You’ll also need a counterweight system if you’re using a fork mount.)

Starizona Hyperstar v4 for Celestron C6
The Starizona HyperStar is built upon Celestron's revolutionary Fastar feature, which facilitates the removal of the secondary mirror from Celestron's Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. By replacing the secondary mirror with the HyperStar lens assembly, users can affix a CCD camera to the front of the telescope, enabling a broader field of view and significantly expedited imaging.
Compatibility with various cameras is a key attribute of the HyperStar lens assembly. It's important to note that different cameras necessitate distinct adapters, and one such adapter is provided with the HyperStar lens. Please specify the camera model when placing an order.
For the convenience of users, a holder is included for secure storage of the secondary mirror during the imaging process.
