This is a used ZWO ASI462MC camera in excellent condition. It has clean optics and completely unmarked body. It does not include any accessories nor the original box.
The ASI462 color camera from ZWO uses the Sony IMX462 1.28" format 12bit ADC sensor. This camera has the ability to capture infrared lights and has a super high sensitivity and ultra low readout noise. All of these features provide users with excellent performance for planetary, solar, and lunar imaging.
This ASI camera is equipped with a built-in HCG mode. This mode effectively reduces the readout noise at high gain while keeping the same wide dynamic range when at low gain. When the gain is 80, the HGC mode automatically turns on. When it comes to read noise, it is as low as 0.47e while the dynamic range is still close to 12 stops.
About the IMX462 Sensor
ZWO uses the IMX462 sensor in the ASI462 camera. The 2.1MP sensor has a pixel size of 2.9um, and can accommodate a well depth of 11.2ke. With a resolution of 1936x1096, the sensor measures 1/2.8" with a length of 5.6mm and width of 3.2mm. The diagonal of the sensor is 6.46mm.
About the Camera Ports
The ZWO ASI462 camera comes with two ports. The first is a USB3.0 port that provides 5GB bandwidth, allowing the camera to run at 136.1 fps (10bit: high speed mode) or 63.fps (12bit: normal mode) at full resolution. The second is an ST4 port for connecting with an auto guide port on mounts.
